Reading Program

We will be contacting the teacher at the child's school to determine their reading level, work on phonics, and vocabulary, and use materials that the young person is interested in and we know that will encourage them. We have support and help from:

  • a Title One teacher

  • 8 volunteers from Sororities

  • The Community

By making a difference and building self-confidence and self-esteem, we have already seen a change in our young people.

Single Parent Support

Mrs. Boddie is launching a support group for single parents to exchange resources, extend shared babysitting, and tips on dealing with issues.

  • Build a positive setting for your children

  • Discussing and using a single parenting book by Kelly Williams
